Sui Wenjing and Han Cong have represented China's figure skating team for many years. 4 years ago at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Sui Wenjing/Han Cong stood on the Winter Olympics for the first time. Due to Sui's toe injury, they lost to the German team by 0.43 points and passed the gold medal. After the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, Sui had surgery for a fatigue fracture in her right foot and missed most of the season. Han Cong, on the other hand, underwent hip surgery in April 2020. Faced with the test of injury, Sui said, "Our physical conditions are not one of the best in the world, and we have come this far because we have put in more effort than normal."

As the leader of the Chinese team in the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, alumnus Yuan Shoulong introduced: it was not easy to win the Beijing Winter Olympic Games figure skating championship, the secret lies in: strict management, adherence to innovation, scientific training. In the pairs skating competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics, the Chinese team Sui Wenjing/Han Cong temporarily used a difficult "twist around" move, which became the key to victory. During the competition, the team focused on strengthening the psychological attack, sports injury protection, and rehabilitation to ensure that the team members always have a positive attitude.

It is understood that in last year's Tokyo Olympics, Yuan Shoulong, as the leader of China's trampoline team, guided the players to win the first Olympic gold and silver medals in China's women's trampoline program. The two Chinese players Zhu Xueying and Liu Lingling killed from the encirclement of the two host players and the two-time defending champion McLennan and others in the Tokyo Olympic Games and strongly wrapped up the gold and silver medals. Because of the excellent results achieved at the Tokyo Olympics, the party group of the State General Administration of Sports decided that Yuan Shoulong should also be the leader of the Chinese figure skating team.

Yuan Shoulong graduated from our university in 1985 with a degree in acupuncture and moxibustion and is a doctor of sports training from Beijing Sports University and a postdoctoral fellow of control science from Tsinghua University.
