Recently, the list of Malaysia's "Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons" for 2021 was released, and Sin Wei Lun, a Malaysian graduate of the 18th class of our Master's degree in Orthopedic and Traumatic Chinese Medicine, was awarded the title of Malaysia's "Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons" for his outstanding achievements in "innovative medical achievements".

Born in a medical family, Sin Wei Lun has extensive experience in medicine. His mentor is Professor Chen Zhaohui, a renowned expert in orthopedic trauma. He is also once named the youngest recipient of the Golden Spine Award by the World Spine Federation.

As an international student alumnus, he is not only committed to promoting the medical techniques and culture of Chinese medicine, but he always has China and his alma mater in mind. Last spring, he was in Malaysia during the Covid-19 outbreak in China and he heard that medical supplies were urgently needed in the infected areas of China. He went around to collect medical supplies and delivered them to the Chinese medical staff at the first opportunity.

The "Top Ten Outstanding Young Persons" award aims to recognize young Malaysians who have demonstrated excellence in their professional careers and contributed to society. The honor of receiving this award is also a testament to Sin Wei Lun's medical achievements.
