Our University Signs Framework Agreement with Germany's Three Saints International Education College

On November 7, 2024, Anhui University of Chinese Medicine (AHUCM) held an online signing ceremony for a cooperation framework agreement with Germany's Three Saints International Education College. The ceremony was attended by AHUCM President Xu Fan, Director of the Cologne Campus Zhang Xie, Director of the Neuss Campus Li Hua, Director of the Düsseldorf Campus Jiang Yuelong, Mr. Scholz, Council Member of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Director of Vocational Education Department Mr. Klee, and Ms. Huang Yi from the Chinese Medicine Promotion and Exchange Center, among others. The ceremony was also attended by relevant officials from AHUCM, including the Dean of the School of Acupuncture and Tuina and the Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs.

President Xu Fan warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked all the distinguished guests for their participation. He pointed out that in recent years, AHUCM has actively responded to China’s "Belt and Road" initiative and established friendly cooperative relationships with more than 40 medical and educational institutions in over 20 countries and regions. He emphasized that the cooperation with Three Saints International Education College would provide AUCM with an international platform, supporting the university’s diversified and international development. He expressed hope that through close collaboration, both sides would deepen international cooperation in Chinese medicine education, promote faculty and student exchanges, advance scientific research cooperation, and foster the dissemination of Chinese medicine in Germany, ultimately enhancing the global influence of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Director Zhang Xie remarked that this cooperation would open a new chapter for TCM education in Germany and even Europe. He looked forward to strengthening academic exchanges and cooperation between the two institutions in TCM through resource sharing, mutual expert and scholar exchanges, and joint research efforts. He also expressed anticipation of jointly contributing to the development of TCM professionals with an international perspective.

Under the joint witness of both parties, President Xu Fan and Director Zhang Xie signed the cooperation framework agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. The agreement covers multiple areas, including faculty and student exchanges, joint courses, collaborative research, and cultural exchanges on TCM. Its aim is to establish a comprehensive, multi-level cooperation system that will inject new vitality into the internationalization of Chinese medicine.

Three Saints International Education College, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, also has campuses in Düsseldorf and Neuss. The college is renowned for its extensive course offerings and strong faculty, particularly in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany.
