Xie Ruijin Led a Delegation Successfully Visit Three European Countries

            To thoroughly implement the new-era education opening-up policy, promote Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to the world, and enhance the university's international education level, with the approval of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Anhui Provincial Government, from May 13th to 22nd, Xie Ruijin, Chairman of University Management Committee, led a delegation to visit Greece, Germany, and Serbia. The visit focused on in-depth exchanges in the fields of TCM education, medical care, scientific research, and cultural exchanges, and achieved fruitful results. 

         During the stay in Greece, the delegation visited the Medical School of the University of Athens, the European Institute of Integrative Health Sciences, investigated the Athens TCM Center, signed a cooperation memorandum with the European Institute of Integrative Health Sciences, and visited the Genesis Assisted Reproductive Hospital in Athens, Greece. 



        In Germany, the delegation visited the European Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Association, the ACURA Kliniken Baden-Baden, and Drei Könige Internationale Akademie. A cooperation memorandum was signed with the European Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Association. An agreement on co-establishing a TCM center was signed with the ACURA Kliniken Baden-Baden, and the "Anhui University of Chinese Medicine Baden-Baden TCM Center" was inaugurated. An agreement on co-establishing an Acupuncture and Tuina training base was signed with Drei Könige Internationale Akademie, and the "Anhui University of Chinese Medicine Düsseldorf Acupuncture and Tuina Training Base" was inaugurated. The delegation also visited outstanding graduates of our university at Heidelberg University and held a special promotion meeting for overseas talent recruitment. 


        In Serbia, the delegation visited the University of Niš and the Confucius Institute at the University of Niš, paid a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, and visited the Serbian Chinese Cultural Center. An agreement on co-establishing an international Chinese education postgraduate joint training base was signed with the Confucius Institute at the University of Niš, Serbia. 

       Xie Ruijin emphasized that the university should take this visit as an opportunity to continuously optimize the global cooperation layout, promote the "going out and bringing in" of TCM talent training and scientific and technological innovation, and inject new momentum into serving national strategies and regional development.(Li Hui/Text)
