With the refreshing autumn breeze and the fragrance of osmanthus filling the air, the university organized a series of cultural activities during the Mid-Autumn Festival to allow international students to deeply experience the unique charm of this traditional Chinese holiday. From heartfelt greetings during visits to the dormitories to the fun hands-on activity of making mooncakes, international students experienced the profound heritage of Chinese civilization amid laughter and joy, and felt the warmth of traditional culture through these immersive experiences.

The full moon brings warmth, and the fragrance of cakes conveys emotions

On September 24th, Ye Lanlan, Secretary of the Party Branch of the college, Gu Yijun, Deputy Secretary, Zhang Xiaorong, Vice Dean, and international student management teachers walked into the international student dormitory and presented holiday greetings and customized mooncakes with campus logos. Classmates expressed their gratitude and joy, saying, "It was a very pleasant experience to taste mooncakes and understand their cultural significance." "Thank you to the teachers and school for giving us the opportunity to understand and experience traditional Chinese culture!" The small mooncakes not only allowed international students to taste the authentic Chinese flavor, but also became a window for them to perceive Chinese culture.

Hand makes the bright moon, heart gathers into a circle

On September 25th, the ice skin mooncake making event was held at the "one-stop" Qihuang Community Roadshow Hall for college students. The scene was filled with warmth and constant laughter. Under the guidance of the teacher, the students kneaded the dough, filled the filling, pressed the mold, and completed their own mooncake creations step by step. After the event, students posted photos of themselves participating in the event on their social media, with the caption "Happy Mid Autumn Festival", spreading this joy and blessings to more friends.

The moon rises on the sea, and the ends of the earth share this moment. The reunion of Mid Autumn Festival transcends mountains and seas, connecting students from different cultural backgrounds closely. May this warmth and friendship continue to grow on campus, accompanying every international student to write their own wonderful stories in a foreign land.
