From May 25 to 28, a total of 200 foreign students from 20 universities came to Huangshan area of Huizhou to participate in the Chinese traditional culture research tour, to experience the beautiful scenery of China and the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
Overseas students came to Xie Yuda Tea Estate to experience the fun of tea picking, learn the process of tea roasting, and understand the tea culture. At Huangshan, a World natural Heritage site, the students followed the planned tour route to enjoy the beautiful scenery and witness the extraordinary pines and rocks in Huangshan.
In the ancient Hongcun Village, students praise the distinctive Hui-style architecture in southern Anhui. As Tong Nian, an international student from Tanzania, said, walking in Hongcun Village is like going through time travelling machine to ancient China. Finally, the students went to the cooking training class of Huangshan College to learn how to make dumplings.
"Only that which belongs to the nation belongs to the world." This research activity shows the long history of the Chinese nation to the world. Through research and experience, international students have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, concepts and thoughts. Experiencing authentic Chinese customs and traditional culture.
