To strengthen campus safety and promote orderly police-university cooperation, the Xinzhai District Public Security Bureau held a campus safety event at Anhui Urban Management Vocational College on the afternoon of November 29. The event, themed “Safeguarding Campus Safety, Building a Safe Xinzhai Together,” aimed to enhance safety awareness and knowledge among university students. The School of Humanities and International Education organized over 30 international students to actively participate in this event, where they joined local students from other universities in learning about campus safety.

During the skill demonstration session, officers from the Xinzhai District Public Security Bureau showcased various police tactics, including shield displays, mounted patrols, and small-unit combat drills, earning enthusiastic applause from students and faculty. These demonstrations highlighted the professionalism of the police officers. Several interactive segments were also set up during the event, such as a talk show, anti-fraud promotion, and a knowledge quiz on fraud prevention. Our international students actively participated, deepening their understanding of safety knowledge through these interactive exchanges.

By participating in this event, our international students gained a stronger awareness of safety and the rule of law and learned important legal knowledge. Moving forward, our university will continue to strengthen police-university cooperation, encourage international students to actively engage in campus safety initiatives, and contribute to building a harmonious and secure campus environment.
