On September 23rd, our college organized a new semester safety education themed class meeting. The meeting was co-led by Wang Jiaxin, the international student counselor, and Wei Ziqi, the class adviser, with attending international students.
Wang Jiaxin delivered a special session focused on dormitory safety. She reiterated the dormitory management prohibitions, including a strict ban on smoking, keeping pets, and using unauthorized high-wattage electrical appliances. She also explained regulations regarding electrical safety and the requirement to report late returns, urging students to strictly adhere to dormitory rules and work together to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.

Wei Ziqi addressed traffic safety and health insurance matters. She emphasized that cyclists must wear safety helmets and are prohibited from carrying passengers in violation of regulations. Using typical case studies, she warned students to be vigilant against traffic risks and to consciously comply with China’s road traffic safety laws. She also explained health insurance enrollment requirements, reimbursement coverage, and medical treatment procedures, reminding everyone to complete enrollment on time and to keep their health insurance cards in a safe place.

The content of this class meeting is pragmatic and highly targeted, further consolidating the safety awareness of international students. In the future, our institution will continue to carry out regular safety education and make every effort to safeguard the safety of international students' study and life on campus.
